Featured is a very nice English Sheffield Silver-Plated Bread Basket with Lion head designs and Lion mask and ring Handles. This lovely piece dates from about c1850, has an incised mark of a "C" and a "S" and is damage free. The plating is very good condition and shows very little wear, with just a little copper showing through on the lions heads on the front and back. This exquisite piece is of good solid weight, and measures 4 7/8" in height, 12" in width, and 7 1/2" in depth.
