For the collectors of finer Grandfather Clocks, this HUGE Authentic 8 day clock from Circa 1830 is truly a classical beauty. All original and in excellent condition, with the exception of the brass finial which was added and a replaced lock, this fine Scottish clock has a lovely hand painted face,and striking Mahogany Case with fine Burl graining. The piece also has its original weights and winding key. Originally imported from Canada some years back, the clock has been recently cleaned and keeps remarkable time and chimes on both the 1/2 hour and hour. This is a big piece and measures 97 3/4" in height by 27 1/4" in width and is 9 1/2" in depth. Notice the fine attention given to the broken pediment design, and general design of the case.
