Large 19c Japanese (6) Panel folding screen, This magnificent screen depicts warriors going into battle as they ride their horses proudly displaying flags. With incredible hand painted detail, the background is all goldleafed. The screen is in very good condition with minor corner tears and some surface wear, with seperation at seams in the last 2 panels, though all in tact. The measurements 67 3/4" in ht, and 145 1/4" in total length. Each panel is 24 1/8" across.
